Pie in the Sky

“When you ask the average person, ‘What is the greatest vision you have about yourself,’ they often can’t tell you,” explains Neale Donald Walsch in his book What God Said. Neale goes on to explain that, often, even if we can describe our grandest vision of ourselves, we describe it in terms of what we would like to do rather than what we would like to be.

Become that version of yourself. Become gratitude. Become compassion. Become creativity. In that moment, you are creative. You are that version of yourself without requiring any external circumstances. Throughout the day, if you begin to feel less than yourself, come back to your piece of pie and create yourself anew again. Maybe this time you want to be love. Become it.

You are always becoming the best version of yourself. You don’t have to do anything.
